Basin pillar taps

At first glance, the basin pillar tap looks like a classic tap. However, it does not mix hot and cold water, it only lets in and shuts off the water supplied to the tap, either pre-mixed or - and this is more often the case - only cold water. You'll use it in places where it's not convenient or necessary to have hot water - for example, in the toilet or away from the boiler that heats your water.
